Prof. Vladilen Minin is the Red Banner Award of Labor, the winner of the State premium of the USSR, and academician of the Academy of Technical Science of The Russian Federation. He is the founder and President of the Ural-Siberian branch of the Academy of Technological Sciences of Russia. He is the winner of the Order of Lenin as well as numerous other awards and medals for his scientific and academic achievements. Prof. Vladilen Minin has also authored the openings of more than 600 technical proceedings, and holds patents on more than150 inventions. His work was resulted in the creation of over 70 different families of weaponry. Both the armies of the USSR as well as the Army of the Russian Federation have employed these systems. Many of systems are still unique in the world.

Prof. Oleg V. Minin is a full Professor and Chief of Metrology and optical technology department with the Siberian State Geodesy Academy (SSGA), Russia. Dr. Minin received a B.A. in Physics from the Novosibirsk State University, a PhD in Physics from Tomsk State University in 1987 and a Doctor of science from NSTU in 2002. Dr. Minin has over twenty years of international industrial and academic experience and has played key roles in a number of projects including explosive plasma antenna, 3D millimeter wave diffractive optics and antiterrorism applications, explosive physics and experimental methods in explosive physics. He is the author or coauthor of approximately 350 research articles, and has been awarded 40 patents and inventions. He is the author and coauthor of a substantial number of scientific publications with high citation index, several books and book chapters in technical publications and has been the Editor of several books and editorial board members of several international journals. Dr. Minin has been an Invited Lecturer at several international universities and institutions, and has served on a number of national and international conference committees. For his work Dr. Minin was awarded the Commendation for Excellence in Technical Communications (LaserFocusWorld, 2003) and commendation by the Minister of Defense of Russia, 2000. In 2013 Prof. Oleg Minin was awarded by Russian medal of Russian National Committee on Theoretical and Applied Mechanics. Dr. Minin’s biographical data was included into Marques Who’sWho in the World (2004, 7th editions), etc.
